Due to my handset been an ITC ref number is required. I called the Celc customer care and the agent was helpful however he advised me that he was unable to blacklist my device due to the fact that there isn't a sim card present in the device. I was told by the agent that I would receive an ITC ref number by the end of the day, while holding on the line I was disconnected. I called back, however I was unable to speak to same agent. While speaking to the second agent I was told that he had to drop the phone as he cannot hold on for so long which was under a minute, this is the first time I heard of this. I called back, went through the entire process again only to be told that it cannot be done right now and that I would either have to go into a Celc store or fill out a form and either email or fax it. I was also told that this would take up to 7 working days which means that I would have to wait a week until Celc can help me, thereafter send through the documents to my insurance and still wait. Through all this time the person who has my device has a week to play with it while Celc processes my claim, a claim which I saw get done over the phone in less than ten minutes.
