My mobile phone was out of my car on 13 Oct 13 with some other goods. When I relapsed what had happened I called MTN call centre to block the SIM card and the blackberry handset. I was advised to call back with the serial number and that the sim was blocked. I got home and called to advise the serial number to which I was advised the handset is blocked.
I went to MTN at Mall @ Carnival and was advised I need to provide a case number and affidavit on 16 Oct and also advised that the and set was not blacklisted as promised by the call centre agent, however the gentleman blacklisted the handset.
I came back with my affidavit and police case number on Sat 19Oct and was advised by the young lady that she will contact me, I provided both my contact number and email address. A whole week went by with no response, whereby I went back to the store to enquire only to find out that nothing had been done with my claim. The manager called me to apologize for the lack of service and or used she will personally ensure all was sorted. She sent me an email to my old work email address which she got a non delivery response from but didn't bother until I called to enquire. I am still waiting
