I am disgusted by this! I set up my Mom on Iburst about 2 years ago and recently she was having problems connecting with the modem provided by iburst. After downloading the drivers to re-install the modem I found out that in her haste my Mom called iBurst support to sort our the problem. They told her that she was out of her 2 year contract and need to re-sign with them and they'll send her a new modem to sort the issue out. Not only is this unacceptable - turning a support issue into a sale but they sent the exact same modem as the one we have and we still cannot connect.
I think this is appalling that iBurst has taken advantage of the situation with no attempt to troubleshoot and solve an issue for a customer of 2 years who by the way uses the internet for business purposes.
I am currently seeking to cancel the new contract signed but getting resistance from iBurst I'm not the account holder. Conveniently I didnt get any problems signing up my mom initially.
