I joined MWEB on ADSL uncapped 4mbps contract last month. Everything was going smoothly, and I was very happy. All of a sudden, a few days ago, I discovered that my You tube is buffering every two seconds... literally, and I cannot download one thing. Everything came to a virtual standstill, almost!! My son also complained about things getting slower over the past few days. When I called MWEB to report the problem, they informed me that I have been throttled? I had no idea what the man was talking about..., so he had to explain... Upon which I was extremely upset! No one had told me of this limitation at sign-up, because it would probably affected the type of service I would have chosen. And, when I asked about what the "limit" is on my uncapped package, he could not disclose any figure!!! We are two people in the household, and I pay for the service that I applied for. Who give MWEB the right to describe what is above average, or excessive usage!??? Now I have to wait for 25 days, according to the agent, to have my normal speed again!
I feel that I have been misled and deceived by MWEB not being told from the beginning what the real extend of the package is.
