Pathetic service

I signed up for a Mweb 10mbps contract on 07/01/2013. On 17/01/2013 I contacted the call centre with regards to my download speed being 1Mbps. The contact person responded and said that the Telkom line only allows for 1Mbps and that it would be reported and the problem be solved in 7days (before24/01/2013). Reference number MWEB 1061692/TELKOM125BTK170113.

The download speed on 24/01/2013 was still 1Mbps. I again phoned the call centre. They said they will report it to the escalation managers and a manager would contact me before the close of day. I had no response from MWEB 25/26/27 January 2013.

I sent numerous emails to Ernest Stripp. He said my query is being attended to. I again phoned the call centre on 28/01/2013 and spoke to one of the managers who said he would mark my situation as urgent and phone me back before 17:00 28/01/2013. MWEB did not phone back.

I spoke to Byron (Tech managers) on 29/01/2013. He said that it is not his departments problem but the sales department. He will personally phone me back and have one of the sales managers phone me before 17:00 29/01/2013. No call back again! Byron also said that MWEB would charge me for a 10Mbps line! Unbelievable!
