Attempted to do a line transfer for my Telkom adsl to Mweb to take advantage of an adsl offer.
i requested a 2mb premium account with Mweb. i received a phone call 2 weeks later from Mweb telling me that my line was only capable of 1mb. i have been paying for a 2 mb line since the account was open with Telkom, my router says the sync speed is 2mb, and after numerous speed tests i am definitely getting more than 1mb download speeds, to the disbelief of the call centre agent. i was told that it is not possible and that they can either cancel the order or offer me a 1mb account. Mweb provided no assistance, would do no investigation or follow up on this issue, i myself contacted telkom billing and technical support and confirmed that i am both paying for and receiving 2mb line speed, why could MWEB not do this?
