Charge notification for a EA subscription not made

On Friday 1st of Nov 2013 I received an sms " Your recurring R9.50 subscription to EA Play Unlimited Gaming will be billed on 2013-11-03. To unsubscribe click [URL Removed] :) " I want to to know who the EA UGaming is, never heard of them. and secondly, who had the right to make a subscription on my behalf?! I am considering changing networks as this seems an unreliable venture. Unacceptable. Of course immediately I followed the unsubscribe link and did so. The point is I did NOT subscribe..The new sms states that it will end on the same day the notified charge will apparently take place. If that happens to a substantial amount of vodacom customers, I much is collectively unrightfully taken from the public?
