Telkom forcing TWO months notice

I had a Telkom line for the purpose of having an ADSL account with MWEB, for this purpose and this purpose ONLY.

We moved hoses and I tried to give 1 month notice, as per my contract with each...

Telkom refused the notice as I had an ADSL line... They were "afraid" that I will be breaking my contract with MWEB...

One month later, MWEB has cancelled a line, and NOW I can give a month notice... Not simultaneous, no MWEB first needs to release the line prior to my notice

I regard this as and scandalise behaviour... I am no longer in possession of the line, yet you are forcing me to take on the risk that the new tenants could be happily phoning on my account...

This will be my LAST account with Telkom; you will not hold me ransom again, for unneeded and highly unwanted "service". There are other options, and I no longer need your dodgy infrastructure.
