I went to Vodacom 3G store in Tygervalley in the middle of October to upgrade my phone and my contract. I changed from a Blackberry 9300 to Z10.
Issues:
1. Nobody told me that the contract will only change from the 1 st of the next month. Only after I called the customer help line, was I told this.
2. BIS was immediately deactivated on the Z10, but the new data bundle was not activated and, I was told, would not be activated, until the 1st of the next month, when I called 111.
3. I was very unhappy with this, received a reference number and was told that someone would call me back within 48 hours. Nobody has done so.
4. The Blackberry Z10 was faulty (the back gets hot when used) and I took it back, only to be told that it would take a week to receive a new one. I am still waiting.
5. I am using the 9300 again and tried to send a bbm, only to find out that BIS has been deactivated. HOWEVER, my data bundle will only be activated tomorrow!!!
6. I told the consultant, Didi, that I am not happy and she told me to go back to the store, so that they could phone 111 and be told this.
I am paying for both BIS AND a data bundle, neither of which I can use!!!
