I don't think I have ever received such poor service from any carrier during my entire phone contracting life. I added a new contract which was confirmed by Vodacom agents and representatives that it was activated. I phoned multiple times, incurring additional costs as although this was confirmed, I was still unable to use my phone. I started paying for the contract already since the day I purchased it but without the ability to use it. After yet another phone call (as the people at the store who assisted me in buying it is not getting back to me - it seems all they were interested in is getting the sale done), it was now confirmed by the Data call centre that the activation only took place this morning at 10am - 48 hours after purchase!!! The new story that they are now giving me is that now it will take another 24 hours for my sim to be activated and I just have to wait. What absolute rediculous customer service - so I pay for a phone, I get wrongful confirmation that it is working, yet I have to wait 72 hours in total to actually start using it. Absolutely unacceptable!!!
