I have logged a call to cell C and have the reference number 1731746.
I ported in January to Cell C. I had good reception with Vodacom when I ported.
Since porting to cell c my reception has been poor. I got stuck on the N1 yesterday and my reception was poor. As a result I had to use a passengers phone to call for assistance. I constantly miss calls because of poor reception even though the signal indicator on my phones display shows at least three bars. At times I can take an MTN or vodacom number in one hand and call my cell c number when the phone is in my other hand and the call goes to voice mail. I miss many calls and receive sms's to state that I have missed a call.
I have called cell c's call centre numerous times and my reception has not improved. My calls have not been returned. I went to the Sandton store and they found nothing wrong with my iphone 5 hand set. I changed my carrier to vodacom and still there is no improvement.
The contract is cheap, but the service is poor. I cannot use up data and voice bundles. Reception is so bad that I cant hear. I regret porting and I am considering paying off the remaining 18 months of my contract and moving back to vodacom
