I upgraded my contract to still be on AnyTime350 with added 1GB data bundle on 1 September 2013. On 2 September 2013 my contract became active and I was able to use my new sim. My contract was loaded with R350 airtime value but no data bundle was loaded. Nadia confirmed that my Data Bundle was never loaded on the system even though we signed for the service. I was billed for a data bundle of which I did not have at the time. From 1 September 2013 - 20 September 2013 my phone used a total of 1.58GB of data apart from my calls that I have made. This was then billed on my open line which equates to over R2000. Since 20 September 2013 until 09 October 2013 my phone has used my total 1GB to when it was loaded. Since 7 September 2013 when my R350 airtime value has been loaded, my 1GB yet again was not loaded on my contract. I phoned MTN again, and each time (4 times to be exact) after enquiring with the store, the sales people take my details with the reply "I will find out from MTN and get back to you". I went again to Mtn on 26 October 2013 whereby my acc has now been rectified but who is going to pay the R2700.00.
