I wanted to close my contract with Vodacom, and requested a quote. I paid the full amount requested by VODACOM within the quote period this was in August. I faxed and emailed all the relevant documents that VODACOM requested, again, and again, and again - in the meantime EACH MONTH THE DEBIT ORDER HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF MY BANK ACCOUNT. Finally they responded. Have closed the contract but say they didnt recieve the money until October therefore the two months worth of installments wont be refunded to me - despite the fact that I paid the full contract amount outstanding in August 2013.
I insisted that they refund me and in usual fashion from a customer services centre, only got an email to say 'this service request is now closed! '
