Cell phone not repaired and poor service

I received my text message to collect my cell phone that was sent for glass replacement. When I got to shop I was informed that I need my receipt (I did forget it at home). I want to know what happens if that receipt was actually lost or destroyed; phone is 2 years old so no box with serial number??? Surely the job number and id would be sufficient to retrieve my property?
Next problem: Phone was not repaired! On the job card clearly stated I would pay for glass replacement. (I had already contacted service department for price). The return job card stated a quote call was made, however manageress could not explain why no record of missed call on my smart phone or why no message was left to explain the quote. I do believe no attempt was made to contact me regarding the repair cost.
I am not used to such poor service or attitude from Vodacom. Liberty mall vodacom in pmb has set a very high standard that other outlets should try obtain.
