Damaged Samsung S4 Mini purchased

I went to upgrade at the Sharon Park MTN store on the 8/10/2013. When I got home and tried to change my sim card realised that the Samsung takes a slim sim. Took the phone back to the store on the 9/10/ 2013, was informed that the system is off line and I could not do a sim swop. I went back to the store on the Friday and they were still offline, my sim was then cut by Roxanne, but the sim still did not work on the SAMSUNG. When I got home and put the sim in my Nokia, it also did not now work on the Nokia. I went back to the store on Saturday and informed Roxanne and Paul that the sim card now did not work in either phone. My details were taken down and I was told that I would be contacted when they came back on line. On Monday night I out of desperation went to get my sim card swopped at MTN Lambton. On getting home put card in the SAMSUNG but it still did not work, yet the sim once activated worked in my old Nokia.

I went back to Sharon Park this evening, after installing and re installing The other technician noted that the phone indeed has two pins and not three as they used the same sim card on another SAMSUNG S4, now they want to send the phone in for repair? Unused phone!
