Last night I bought a PC for R21k at the Fordsburg Samsung store. I am extremely disturbed that the assistant at the store requested a copy of my licence, made a copy of the back of my Cheque card with my CVV number and then asked me to sign on a blank piece of paper with my name and phone number. She also disappeared in to the back office with my card which is NOT acceptable practice on any level. I asked her why she did it and she said that it was to mitigate and my signature was not clear. Really? by committing every action that would lead to my card being cloned or being used on the Internet? WHY DOES THE STORE OR SAMSUNG CONDONE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR!!!

Based on what had transpired I had to cancel my cheque card when I got home last night due to what had transpired at the store. I bought the product from Samsung because it is the brand and you would expect a safe shopping experience. Couldn't be further from the truth. I want ANSWERS and I want to know how this behaviour is tolerated. You WILL contact me and clarify this behaviour as I am telling all my friends and contacts NOT to buy from Samsung Stores at all
