My cellphone got last year, but the contract only expires next year therefore I am paying R199 per month. Suddenly at the end of September 2013 I received a bill from Vodacom to the amount of R8500 on the contract/sim. I immediately suspected and opened a case (affidavit) at Stellenbosch police station. I also contacted the local Vodacom Neelsie Branch who informed me that data was downloaded within 3 days with a SIM card on an HP laptop (which I definitely do not own), after midnite and early morning (while I was at work at Stellenbosch university). A complaint and investigation was requested via Neelsie Branch to Vodacom Centre. After a week I was contacted by Allister Klein from Vodacom Centre who informed me that he can see that was done on the cellnumber 0766380231 - ref no A6-OC75-4V2FY, S3-TOF1E-EIZ8K, S3-TOD8P-P9CZ.
Unfortunately nothing happened and Vodacom is still sending me SMS's that my account is in arrears to the amount of R8500 - I am desperate and don't know what to do more. I refuse to call Vodacom's Call Centre ever again because of incompetancy - please help what else must I do?
