HI There, I have been plagued for the last 6 months with dropped calls. it is totally ridiculous how many times a day this happend. I had a blackberry (useless) which totally crashed. I then bought a Samsung S2 with my savings, as the contract did not allow for another phone. I changed sim cards into the new phone and everyting seemed to be going well. I then went and bought a data bundle 1GB, which at first did not work at all. after numerous calls to vodacare line I was up and running. almost instantaneously from that day my phone drops calls. It happens on every call ie.not limited to a certain network, it happens to landline calls as well. I queried this at the vodashop in Cavendish and then sale person suggested it was the phone. I had the phone checked and surprise NOTHING wrong. Then it was suggetsed that it was the sim card!! for goodness sake what the has a sim card got to do with dropping calls?? Bottom, line is I spend on average r3000 a month on my phone bill so I expect better service.
