UNBELIEVABLY POOR SERVICE

2.5 months without a landline or internet! I have never experienced such incompetence. Anthony, could not find the main phone line after 2 hours of searching. His guage detected it was behind our built-in kitchen cupboards. We were told to locate it for him and to call him once we had done this. As we built the house 7 years ago we needed to contact our electrician to find out where this main box lay. It took some time before he was able to pay us a visit and instantly found the main pit outside on our boundary wall. Anthony temporarily fixed it, but now we had lost our ADSL. When Anthony returned to fix this last Thursday he placed a new filter on the phone to remove the static from the phone line. The phone worked for half an hour only. With the addition of the filter, the sound could not have been worse than before. Telkom lost our logged fault and Anthony promised to fix the problem by the end of the day. Nothing was done and James from Telkom arrived on Monday morning to fix it. The filter that Anthony placed the week before was faulty and James asked us to buy a new one? After all this we are still expected to believe what we are told by Telkom?
