I posted a complaint on 29 January 2014 on the poor response from Telkom on my fixed line and internet service which have been out of order for two weeks. On 30 January a Telkom technician finally arrived at my house to fix the problem. On the evening of 31 January 2014 the line went out of service again! I reported the fault on the morning of 1 February 2014 and a technician arrived that afternoon to fix. However, he spent less than half a minute observing the instrument then said that he needed to go to the main box at the corner of the street to check for faults. He did not return, with the result that we had no progress on what was wrong! It is now Tuesday 4 February and I have been calling Telkom ever since, with no response. I have now effectively been without a landline and internet for three weeks!
