Vodacom wont replace my blackberry

In december I got an upgrade for my blackberry. The phone started given problems in the 1st month so I took it in in march. They kept it for a while then gave me a new battery and did a software upgrade and said it would be fine. The problems persisted and I was only able to the get the phone back to umhlanga in september because I live quite a distance away. I took it in on the 22nd, on the 25th they said I can fetch it but before I even left the store the phone did exactly the same thing so they sent it to jhb which should of been done in the 1st place. A few days ago they called saying the phone has water damage and corrosion which I dont understand, because this has never happen when I had the phone and to my knowledge corrosion takes places over a long period. The phone was less than a month when the problems started. I responded asking for a new phone and the replied saying they can only offer me a discount on a replacement phone for R1500 or R475 for repairs after telling me it is BER (beyond economical repair) they also said I should claim from insurance but I do not have. Please assit me as I am paying for a contract every month that cannot be used.
