I was unable to meet my payments to mtn last year and was subsequently handed over to VVM, whom I began to pay an amount of R669 per month for arrears amounting to R4007, i paid this amount in 4 instalments of X3 R669 and a final payment of R2000. I requested a reconnection fee to connect my Sim for use and to continue with my contract as per normal but the amount given to me was ridiculous, /-R2800.
the principal value of total arrears was R8358.25 which included the repayments for the remainder of the contract after i had paid my arrears through VVM. please assist to resolve this.
To add further frustration i found out the VVM was charging me between R7.98 to R17.10 for enquiring my balance or requesting a statement or emailing info on my account or a telephone consultation.
