Vodacom
Guilty of the sin of omission

I have had numerous calls etc. about the fact that I am due an upgrade, and having initially been sent a totally unsuitable phone and having to go to the inconvenience of returning it and complaining on this site, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and have resisted further attempts to persuade me to upgrade. Today, I had a call telling me I was entitled to new free phone on a cheaper contract. I stated i wished to keep my Blackberry, but no mention was made of the fact I would be paying for two phones. That realisation hit me after I put the phone down, so I immediately phoned the number sms'd to me to cancel the new deal. Failure to inform the client that they now have two contracts when the customer has made it clear that they wish to keep their existing Blackberry, amounts to dishonesty and I'm disappointed that Vodacom could allow their longstanding subscribers to be mislead in this overt fashion. Order U454535 has been cancelled via a call to 0315711801 at 15:16 on 28.01.2013.
