No service after cancellation of my contract

I cancelled my contract in early Nov 2012 on this cell number 0748901369 and I was given an explanation that my contract will be cancelled on the 28 Dec 2012 and be switched on to a prepaid. On the 28 Dec 2012, there was no service on my cellphone, so I phoned the customer service to find out but I couldn't get through. On the 07 Jan 2013 I phoned again and spoke to one of the consultant and explain everything to her. After hearing my complaint, she admitted that my simcard was cancelled without switching it to a prepaid and the error was on their side. She told me to go to the nearest Autopage branch for a new simswap and I must phone them back so that they can activate my new simcard to the same number I'm using, of which I did all she was asking me to do. I was told to wait 24hrs before activation but nothing had happened after waiting. Every time when I call the customer service, they tell me to wait 24hrs and this has been going on for about five times and there is still NO SERVICE on my phone. Can someone help me to get my phone online please? This number is linked to my internet banking and at the moment, I cant do anything. PLEASE HELP!!!
