Paying for nothing

I took out a contract with autopage for a Lab top. When I signed for it the sales person told me that the contract will expire at the end of December 2012 as this will then be 2 years. No one informed me that I will be getting a contract sim card with the phone I got with. According to me the contract and the money that I was paying was for the Labtop and the 2 GIG internet I got with but the internet was only for the first year. In the beginning of last year We bought a Tab and it needed a simcard so I took out the sim card that I got with the phone (This being the first time that I opened the sim card). Suddenly I started getting bills for hundreds and the next month for over a thousand. When I phoned they informed me about the contract sim and then I cancelled the sim card in May 2012. So according to me the sim was cancelled. I paid the money because I did use it even if I weren't aware. When I phoned on the 1st of Feb 2013 as another payment went of for the contract and it should have stopped at the end of December 2012 they inform me that I should have cancelled the contract a month in advance.
