Pathetic service received from MTN

Whenever you take a unit to MTN to repair its always the battery.

A while back I returned my LG cell phone as the battery life was nowhere near what was specified. MTN refused to change the phone, adjust the contract - all that they were prepared to do was change the battery. This did not fix the problem. 2 new batteries later I gave up, sold the phone and used my old one.

Recently I took my tablet in to the high volume repair centre at Montague Gardens as the tablet went blank and would not switch on. Again MTN said that it was the battery and as the tablet was older than 6 months I was told that I would need to buy a new battery for? R800. I refused to buy a new battery as how can the battery pack up overnight?
I asked them to re-check the unit. Again they came back and said it was the battery.
I then took the unit to Samsung. They replaced the main board (NOT THE BATTERY) and all is fine. As it was still within the 24 month guatrantee period it did not cost me anything.
WAKE UP MTN - YOUR SERVICE IS SHOCKING.
