What do I really have to do?

I requested my contract be cancelled & my number 0730418855 be put on PAY-AS-YOU-USE, instead the number was cancelled & I have been sent from pillar to post to get it activated. emails have been sent to me that I must give it 24hrs & it has been 2months now. the last advise I got was to buy another SIM (2288215298), RICA it then call 173 for SIM SWAP, which I did. Unfortunately they told me to call 808 as this number 0730418855 is on contract.
