I went into the Sandton city telkom store on the 21st of Sepetmber and upgraded my line. The new phone required a micro sim and a sim swap was done. I was told by the store that the new sim will be activated with 48 hours. On the 23rd September I call into the call centre on 180 as the new sim was not activated, the The agent said that the store made a mistake and that it will only be actived on the 1st October. on the 1st october the Sim was still not activated, I again called in to the call centre about 3 times before someone said that there was a problem and the "line was stuck"(whatever that means). they said that the line will be activated within 72 hours. Today nothing has happen. I called into the call centre today, and after holding on for a very long time the line disconnected and the agent did not bother to call back. I then called the Sandton store at about 5:30 and spoke to Bobby for about 15 minutes trying to sort out the issue. STILL NOTHING THE NEW SIM HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED! HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR TELKOM MOBILE TO GET SOMETHING RIGHT. IN ALL MY ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT 180, if the line disconnects nobody calls you back.! HELP ACTIVE MY SIM SWAP
