Uncapped account throttling

I have had an uncapped account for about 2 years and have been fairly happy with it most of the time. Suddenly since mid Sept we have terrible internet access - it takes up to 30 minutes or longer to just open Facebook! So I phoned them and was told I am throttled because I used about 80GB in a month and this is what I normally use... duh, it's called uncapped! Also, they said it is calculated on a daily basis, so if I stop downloads, they will unthrottle me. So I stopped all my downloads and a week later I'm still throttled. Phoned them again now to be told that although I have used 5gb in the last 5 days (i.e. only 30 GB a month), I will be throttled for the next 19 to 20 days! This also after I upgraded from a 1MB to 2MB line 1 Oct!! What's the point of paying more for a 2MB line if you're going to throttle me to the point where I have NO Internet anyway?! I understand that downloads can be throttled, but I can't even browse at all! Oh and this woman tonight told me that I was sent a letter regarding the AUP changing (or something about it), which I never received! This is TERRIBLE service and I'm closing this account immediately!!
