I contacted Vodacom on 02/10/2013 regarding the purchase of a tablet, we concluded the entire process of approving my credit worthiness and I explicitly asked the salesman if they had stock of the specific product, he confirmed that they do and promised delivery within two days.
Today I checked on the progress of my delivery only to find out that there was never any stock at the time it was sold to me and that they have no clue as to when it will arrive. I then insisted that they pay for my first month's subscription as per there terms and conditions and now it is impossible to speak to someone with the authority to do that.
This is pathetic and unethical. I was going to move all of my contracts to Vodacom but now I think I should stay just where I am.
