I applied online to have my telephone line moved when i moved houses in July. Telkom immediately contacted me to do the reconnection, but never got down to closing my old line. I have contacted telkom many times and visited numerous stores in order to have this rectified as i have been receiving bills for two places. I was reassured my account would be rectified and amounts reversed, but nothing in this regard has occurred. Today i received an sms from Telkom informing me that my account is in arrears and that i must pay to avoid suspension. Funny when their agents keep giving me the run around on my account. I really don't see why i have to pay for other people's incompetence.
