VODACOM CAUSES POLICE TO INVESTIGATE ME FOR

Last night at around 18:00 my Vodacom Blackberry 9320 just stopped working without reason. Arriving at work today, police officers was waiting on me. They informed me a Blackberry was in JHB, and Vodacom gave my ID, name, address and phone number to the JHB police, because according to them my SIM is in the phone. Captain Manzini (0824490231) handles the case. The police wanted my phone, my phones box and proof that I bought the phone. I spend from 12:30 until 18:00 to search for the box and proof of payment to proof my phone is not. At 16:35 I phoned call centre 111 and spoke to a very reluctant person claiming to be "Nonhlanthla Mapange" who just kept saying a phone must be blacklisted to be able to give info to SAPS. She refused to check on my ID or phone number what was going on. Or if my phone was blacklisted. She did not even ask my name or no!! SHE DID NOT WANT GIVE ME A REF FOR .
The captain told me that they would contact me if needed. I had to spent my whole working day at the SAPS.
What is Vodacom going to do to compensate for this embarrassment and waist of my time? All my collogues seeing how the police interviews me? WHY DID VODACOM DO THIS?
