My husband bought me an S4 (new contract - 11 Sept 2013) as gift. I'd been waiting so long to get my hands on that phone. After having the phone a couple of days I noticed how it would get extremely hot to the touch after use, it didn't matter what i was doing, browsing, making a call, gallery etc. We took it back to the store on the 15th Sept 2013 where we were assured that it would be between 3-7 working days before we got it back or a replacement depending on the assessment. 3 days passed without a word from Cell C, 7 days and still nothing. So we called Cell C only to be informed that the phone was received and would be assessed. We've since called both the store at Cresta and Cell C itself only to be given contradicting info. We called on the 27th Sept 2013 and was told there was no fault picked up on the phone and it would be couriered to Cresta and be ready for pick up on the 30th Sept 2013 after 4. Its now 2nd Oct 2013, still no phone. What is going on? I have to say its pretty clever to sweet talk us and captivate us with your deals then have us sign a contract and once the ink has dried you leave us to the dogs. Bravo!
