In May 2013 I upgraded my contract from a Galaxy S2 to a S4 although my S2 contract only expired in Aug. Cell C sent my S4 which I could, use however the billing for this phone would only commence in Sept. 13, On 26 Nov., prior to receiving my Sept. account, I lost my S4 phone. I went to a Cell C store & requested the phone be blocked & was informed that I was not covered by insurance although on the S2 contract I was. I contacted Cell C & was informed that they would review the phone call when I upgraded & should I not have been informed about the insurance then they would compensate me. A few weeks later I contacted them & was informed that they had review the telephone conversation & confirmed that I was not informed about insurance. Since then I cannot get anyone to tell me what is happening with regard the compensation of my loss. I get told a supervisor would contact me,
then I'm told to contact C Surance to which I informed them that I have never had dealings with this company. Then on 2013/12/01 I received an email informing me ' yqur query has been escalated to our C Surance for further investigations with ref: 311290 & would be contacted in 2 days' I am still waiting.
