Chargin money for disconnected postpaid as well

Hi there,
I requested for cancellation of my postpaid mobile connection more than a month ago. The contract supposed to end on 26th of August I noticed it is still on postpaid. After writing on Hello peter they cancelled my contract and said that I don't have to pay the money which I used during September (Around R 30).
This morning I called Customer support regarding above query, I spoke with Leepile Monchusim and he said I have to pay for the airtime which I used (around 30) during the month of September, I am not sure who is lying. And I am not sure if I need to pay for September as well.
Could you please confirm.
