I cancelled my service with Afrihost and requested that my line be migrated back to Telkom. they confirmed that this would be completed effective 30/09/2013. i then received an email on 01/10/2013 confirming that the circuit has been cancelled. all well and good but i requested a cancellation of the account as well as i am moving to another provider. Imagine my surprise however when i received and email with an invoice for the month of October which was subsequently followed by a debit order on my account.
i tried calling afrihost to query this this morning but after 20 minutes of hold music i decided to try emailing instead. My email has since not received a response and i have been waiting over 5 minutes with no answer.
