On 19/09/2013 I signed at MTN a contract for a combo cellphone and TV. I requested from the Mtn consultant the model no of the TV and wrote it in the contract. It was a Sumsung 32" FHD series 5000 model. After a week a much cheaper Samsung 32" HDR series 4000 was delivered at my home.
After I complained at Mtn Menlyn, they send an email to their TV distributing agent Brightpoint informing them the wrong TV was delivered at my home. Later that day I contact Brightpoint myself to give them the model number of the TV on my contract. The manager at Brightpoint told me he cannot help me because Brightpoint only have a contract with MTN for the 4000 series and NOT for the 5000 series. This is serious!
The reason because I am going the Hello Peter route is because this is a Mtn Top Management issue and their contact detail is not available on the internet. Please assist because we are at a deadlock now. Mtn and Brightpoint are blaming each other and I am stuck with a TV I cannot use.
