Voda shop drops phone and blames the custome

My samsung galaxy s3 suddenly stopped working. It just got extremely hot in my pocket, so hot that I removed it wondering whats wrong. Quickly removed the battery and tried to turn the phone back on after it had cooled down. The phone was completely dead...

I'm working odd hours so I asked my parents to take the phone to Vodacom Repair Centre located at Shop
2, The Circle @ 5Flag, Somerset Mall, Somerset West.

The lady took the phone and checked it all over filling
in a "Device inspection confirmation". She said the phone has no issues and should be back in 10 days.

A few days later the shop phoned and said that there is a crack above the charger and the phone will not be repaired! After talking to the staff and having the phone put down in my ear more than 5 times I then tried vodacom escalations department with them passing the buck over and over and over.

There was no crack on the phone! I have the device inspection form! Clearly they dropped it and now they want me to pay for the phone to be repaired.

I'm appalled at the level of service! Its been two weeks. With extremely poor service form the Vodacom Escalations department as well.
