Free BIS service - had to pay

I acted on a promotion for a 24 month free BIS service advertisement and signed a contract accordingly. The first month I was billed for BIS. Upon enquiring and to and fro's, the problem was solved and I was credited the next month. In all honesty, I never looked at the account/invoice again for more than 22 months. In January this year (2 months before the end of the contract) I received a sms from Vodacom informin that they hope I enjoyed the free promotion & that I will now start paying full price. I was furious - free BIS for 22 months and not the full contract - where have you ever heard of something like this? When I enquired - was sent from pilllar to post, I was told that I have always been paying, only R14 00 credited every month?! What on earth?? Finally I was told to log a Service request and I will be contacted within 24 hours (S3-SEB2V-V8DVZ). That was the 15 January 2013 - I have not heard from Vodacom again.

How on earth does Vodacom get away with me signing for a free BIS promotion - I then pay for 22 months, get a sms notification saying 'hope I enjoyed the free BIS service' but I will now be paying for the rest of the 24 month contract (2 months). UNREA
