On 24/10/2013 (almost two weeks ago) I went to the Vodashop in Hyde Park to get a new contract. I signed up and was told to pick up my new phone when the number was released from Cell C. I then came back to the store on got the phone, they told me in 48 hours my number will be ported. My number was not yet ported within 5 days. I then called into the store and asked why and they said they will get back to me. I was then contacted and told, the number port is being looked at.
At present 05/11/2013 I received an email asking me to come back to the store to now pick up a new SIM. As this inconveniences me I asked for it to be delivered, and was told this cannot be done.
I am very disappointed in the lack of willingness to assist a customer for the inconvenience caused by not correctly porting my number for 2 weeks.
