Bad service... no consistency!

I called to enquire about the proces of canceling a contract, I was told the Phone needs to be within 14 days from the day of purchase. I asked if there were terms either than the 14day's grace period, they said no I just need to take the phone back to the Vodacom outlet. I went to Vodacom 4U in Brooklyn mall, I spoke to Gerry when I got there, he said he knew nothing about the procedure cancellations told me about for as far as he knows I need to be charged R500 for cancelling. I refused to pay it because that was not what cancellations and trade partner told me. I requested that we call Trade partner together with Gerry, we put them on speaker, we spoke to Portia on Wednesday the 18th September 2013 between 15:30 and 16:00. She confirmed on speaker that Gerry was to do the cancellation for me without any cost. Gerry refused and told me he did not have authorisation and that he has to do it with his manager's authorisation who was off that day, Gerry promised to call to let me know what the manager said about the matter, he did not call like he promised so I called and he told me to come as all was ok, I drove there to get no help! Im still stuck with the phone, I want it canceled
