A cell C call center agent called me to offer the Get It 247 service to me. I listened to all of the terms and conditions and I agreed to the service. Not once was it mentioned that i need to have a cheque or credit card in order to use the service. They made me pay a double fee in order to join the service, a month later when i actually wanted to buy movie tickets i found out that i couldn't purchase the tickets. I called the call center and the agent told me that I had to have a cheque or credit card. she told me that i should "borrow" my sisters or husbands card in order to make the purchase. I told her that i want to cancel the service and she the told me I had to give a months notice. I asked her to talk to her manager who was conveniently unavailable. I then asked her to get her manager to call me back, its been about a month and i haven't heard from her. If they had disclosed the rules when trying to sign me up i would never have signed up as i know that i have a savings account!!
