Poor poor Battery

I bought my samsung s3 mini on the 17th august 2013 at vodacom centurion mall, am already charging my phone twice a day, am only having whatsAPP that i frequently use, but according to my understanding these phones are suppose to support whatever application that is running on these phones memories, I went to vodacom to complain, their specialist told me about applications that are running on the background, but when i check those application were not active at all, and told me to take it to vodacare if the problem persist ..i mean 2 months old phone..Do we really deserve this kind of service really?
