I have just got back from Vodacare Repair Center, I went in to leave my Blackberry cellphone for repairs which has been giving me a few problems for the last few day
the technician booked the phone down for repairs, which was fine, i asked also asked him if they back up data since i am running a business and i have all my contacts stored on that phone, he told yes they do and it cost R150.00 which i agreed and said its fine (I DO NOT SEE THE NEED TO CHARGE)
he told me the repairs will take 7-14 working days, but i can call them in 48 hours to check on the progress.
so then i asked him if they have any loan phones that they can lend to me, since i am running a business and a cellphone is rather important.to my surprise, he tell me that loan cellphones are on a limited stock, and they have none in stock.
so what am i supposed to in the meantime? with out a cellphone.
so if vodacom has a client base of 100 000 people and 20 000 peoples phone are in for repairs how many loan phones do they keep? 5 or 6 in store.
i had to walk to CNA and purchase a cheap samsung phone for R150.00 just to use in the meantime just to carry on with my business.
Vodacom is still charging me rental RIPOFF
