On 04 August I came home and checked my emails on my iPhone 4 s. guess what? Wifi button is greyed out!!! I called autopage on 06 August and logged the fault only I was headed out to the us and only returned on 23 August. My one year warranty expired on 13 aug. I took my phone to autopage George south Africa on 24 August and they said they would send it away.but I was told in no uncertain words that my warranty had expired. Even though I logged the fault before the warranty expired. Mtn has a 2 year warranty but nothing is happening! I have a years contract left with a phone that can make calls and send SMS only. I monitor 4 business email addresses and my personal email and travel internationally often. Do you know how this affects my efficiency?
I have tried all the discussed remedies defaulted my phone upgraded to ios7 put my aero plane mode on then off. Never will I renew my autopage or mtn contract. Nor will i ever get another apple. Surely an iPhone should last longer than a yea
