I took out a new contract with Cell C and received the handset by the Pinelands branch. After a 4 day i was receiving software error and couldn't do anything with it. I called Pinelands branch and i did a complete wipe which finally fixed the problem even though i only installed app off google play then after the 7 days OBF my phone showed insert sim card which the branch confirmed it's the phone and not the sim card. Now they want to fix the brand new week old phone. I called about the CPA policy which states i can refuse for it to be fix and get it replaced which everyone in Cell C says they can do and that they don't need to follow that Consumer Protection Act policy that states less than 6 moths i can request a replacement, refund or i can have it fix but its my choice that what Cell C says.
Please advise as i reported this and cant provide feedback as they called due to my previous report and they told me the same Cell C policies and not what the CPA says.
