I have always use the same Cell C store at Howard Centre in Pinelands (Western Cape) every time I upgrade my phone.
My last phone received (HTC One X) within the last 10 months had to go in for repairs shortly after I received it because of a software issue. That was resolved and I thought Cell C Pinelands delivered a great service. There were no hitches with Cell C Jhb.
Here's the peach. I have recently returned my phone for a damage report and quote for my insurance provider to settle.
Cell C Repairs in Jhb now claims that because of the serial number (INM number or something) not matching their records that I did not get my phone from Cell C. Cell C has my purchase invoice and has sent this through to repairs and they are apparently investigating what has happened. I took my phone to Cell C a week ago and am still waiting for any answer.
I can only assume what has happened, being returned a different phone after the first repair, an incorrect label being stuck onto my phone by Cell C Repair technicians, who knows.
Wth. Please advise how you will sort this out as your team is basically telling me that I'm doing something and Cell C is now passing the buck.
