Two weeks ago i went into the canal walk branch to process my upgrade with autopage. The consultant advised me on a few contracts. I opted for the iPhone 4s on a top up 200 contract. They did not have stock and advised that they had ordered the iPhone and it would take 7 - 14 working days to arrive. I have called them three times in the interim to check if the phone had arrived. They kept telling me to wait a bit longer. So today i called the canal walk branch again as it has been 2 weeks and they informed me that the iPhone 4s is now discontinued and i cannot get that phone. At no point did anyone call me and inform me of this, i keep having to follow up with them. Why would they allow me to upgrade my contract to a phone that is no longer available. I feel that autopage need to make a plan in this situation as i am still without a phone and they now want me to pay a few hundred rand extra a month to get the iPhone 5 which i do not want. Either they get the iPhone 4S from another branch or get me the iPhone 5 at the same price. The service of autopage has been appalling over the last 5 years ive been with them. If they cannot rectify this issue then i will be changing providers.
