Intimitant Internet Access Problem

My father has MTN HSDPA mobile internet. It is connected to a Wireless D-Link DSL-2750U router which.
In the past I've thoroughly tested the router. I originally had the equivalent Vodacom USB dongle on contract. Initially it was 100% and fast, but slowly it became worse and worse until it would not connect at all, unless the dongle was connected to the computer directly, and even then it was slow and intermittent.
So I bought a Pay as you go MTN dongle and sim card, charged it up and it connected 100%. I tested this for a couple weeks and it performed 100%.
So I bought a contract MTN dongle. Once again it worked fine for a few months, then started the exact same thing. I call MTN and they said there were no issues with their signal and that I must buy a signal booster aerial. Which I have now done. Initially it was working 100% but only for a month or so, then again the signal started dropping. Now the pc's show that they have internet connection, but I cannot access the internet and only get the page stating "connection has timed out"
I am fed up with MTN's blas? attitude about this. I need it fixed as my business and studies rely on internet access.
