My contract with Cell C 'ended' in Dec 2011. I was contacted for an upgrade. I had discussions with a CellC employee- at the Cresta Cell C branch. I decided not to upgrade and requested himto cancel my contract. However I found that I was being charged R169.00 pm for a new contract with a Blackberry phone. I contacted Cell C on numerous occasions and everytime I was told, "we will investigate and get back to you". I am still waiting for someone to revert to me, still being charged. I went back to the Cresta Branch and had a long chat with Bafana. He requested 'my forms' from the admin office at H/O, and confirmed that I did not upgrade my contract and that the instrument I was supposedly using was given to another person. He was asked to cancel my contract and refund me my money which had been deducted from January 2012. My ref no: is 2061300781. I am paying for a phone I never received; I requested the contract to be cancelled. Bafana confirmed that an act of had been committed by the first consultant and that he had been fired from Cell C. NOW WHY AM I STILL BEING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING I DO NOT HAVE??? I have not received any response to my Emails and calls for a year.
